Rule 15
The minimum service period required to be a candidate for promotion
: (1) To be promoted to the following post of military miscellaneous services, the following service period should be reached and employed in a post below one level:- Post to be promoted Authorized service period
(a) Above twenty-one years
(b) Assistant Rathi Twenty years
(c) Mahasenani Seventeen years
(d) Chief Soldier Thirteen years
(e) Soldier Seven years
(f) Sahasenani Two years
(2) In order to be a candidate for promotion to the following post of military miscellaneous services, the following service period in the post of soldier should be reached:-
(a) Above twenty-one years
(b) Assistant Rathi Twenty years
(c) Mahasenani Seventeen years
(d) Chief Soldier Thirteen years
(e) Soldier Seven years
(f) Sahasenani Two years
(2) In order to be a candidate for promotion to the following post of military miscellaneous services, the following service period in the post of soldier should be reached:-
